Montgomery County Senior Games, Expo Highlighted in Harper’s June Legislative Report Program
HARRISBURG – Nearly 500 senior citizen athletes turned out for fun, friendship and exercise at the 32nd annual Montgomery County Senior Games and Expo. The event is featured on the June edition of Legislative Report with Rep. Kate Harper (R-Montgomery).

During the program, Harper talks with Phil Brady, chairman of the games, about the growth in participation by both athletes and volunteers. She also speaks with athletes, some of whom who are long-time participants, such as Karen Pflug-Felder of Worcester Township, and others who are first-time participants, such as Joe Millet of Lansdale. Other guests on the program include Attorney Susan Piette, who shares information about the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Elder Law Handbook, and Jacqui Baxter, director of community engagement with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

The 30-minute program airs as follows:

• Comcast Cable On Demand.
• Colonial School District, Comcast Channel 28 and Verizon Channel 28 – Airs Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• Plymouth Township, Comcast Channel 22 and Verizon Channel 43 – Airs daily at 2 a.m., 5 a.m., 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The program is also provided to Brittany Pointe Estates, Foulkeways at Gwynedd, Normandy Farms Estates and Dock Woods for airing within their communities.
